Dear Sherlock and Watson,

I got a haircut that I regretted in the end. It did not look the way I wanted it to, however I do not want to pay $40 for another one. What should I do?

Dear Heinous Hair,

I am so sorry to hear about your unfortunate haircut. There are a couple of ways to help with your problem. The first one is that usually it takes a couple of days for haircuts to settle, so it may look better in a couple of days. The other option is to go back to the salon, or wherever you went and argue your case. If you can show the manager and the stylist how they did not follow your desired hairstyle, they may comp your haircut or at least give you a discount.
