Criminal Mischief
November 02, 12:20 p.m. (Botanical Gardens): A member of the Grounds Department called to report that a stone bench had been broken in the garden.
November 3, 10:30 a.m. (Atkinson Annex): An employee reported that the fence to the generator behind the building had been broken into and the battery disconnected.
Medical Assistance
November 2, 1:20 p.m. (Bishop Wellness Center): Campus Safety received a call that a student needed to be transported to the Emergency Room. An officer respond and transported the student.
November 3, 10:25 p.m. (In a Campus Residence): A student had been hit in the head during a softball practice and was concerned about a concussion. WEMS responded with Campus Safety and evaluated the student. They were told to continue to monitor the warning signs, but that they did not require further treatment at that time.
Suspicious Activity/Persons
October 29, 8:22 a.m. (Maintenance East): An employee called to report an individual was going through a dumpster in the parking lot. An officer responded and asked the individual to leave.
October 29, 8:34 a.m. (Ford Hall): An officer observed two individuals passing through campus and one appeared to be drinking a beer The officer observed them until they left campus.
October 31, 12:05 a.m. (12th Street): Campus Safety received a call about individuals, potentially students, smashing pumpkins in the middle of the street.
October 31, 3:34 p.m. (Ford Hall): Campus Safety received a call about an individual sleeping on the deck of the building. An officer responded and escorted them off campus
November 02, 3:45 a.m. (Law School): An officer observed an individual digging through the dumpsters behind the building. The individual was escorted off campus.
November 02, 3:38 p.m. (Rogers Music Center): Campus Safety received a call about the smell of smoke coming from the bathroom area. An officer responded but did not see or smell any smoke.
November 03, 10:00 a.m. (Softball Parking Lot): An officer located three individuals camped on the property. They were asked to leave and they complied.
November 04, 8:36 a.m. (Skybridge): An officer observed an individual camped underneath the skybridge. They were asked to leave and they complied
Theft
October 29, 8:10 p.m. (Eaton Hall): A student reported that their phone and credit card were stolen. They later saw that a charge was made on their credit card at the Bearcat Market. They canceled their credit card and turned off service to their phone.
