Shots fired at peaceful protest, no one harmed

A man with a shotgun fired at least one shot in the air and threatened a group of people peacefully demonstrating in front of the Salem police headquarters the night of Thursday, April 15. No injuries or deaths have been reported.


The group, which included several Willamette students, were using chalk to write messages and create images protesting recent police shootings in front of the Salem Police Department building.


The [man was arrested by police] a few blocks away through “a high-risk traffic stop,” after the man attempted to leave the scene in his truck.

Bail is set at $40,000 according to https://apps.co.marion.or.us/jailrosters/mccf_roster.html. I wonder how long it will take the fascists to crowdfund it.
