A student living on campus has tested positive for COVID-19, making it the fourth case of the Spring 2021 semester. The Reopening Operations Committee (ROC) announced the case at 2:45 p.m. on April 23 in an email to students.
The ROC once again reminded the Willamette community that they are limited in the details they can give due to requirements from the Oregon Health Authority and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission. The email did disclose that the student has been present in Doney Hall, Ford Hall, Waller Hall, Goudy Commons and the Bishop Wellness Center. All close contacts have been identified and advised to quarantine.
Faculty and staff who test positive are asked to contact Danita Chapin in Human Resources, <dkchapin>. Students who test positive should contact Tori Ruiz in Student Affairs, <truiz>.
